After attending several different colleges at night, Billy earned his B.S. degree in Business Management in 2000 from Southern Wesleyan University.
Billy moved to the Aiken area in 1990 with his wife, Kim. Kim is recently retired from teaching at Kennedy Middle School in Aiken, SC. They have two children: Tucker, a graduate of the University of Alabama, and Tanner, a graduate of Wofford College.
